Rawajeh Holding has announced the launch of its iconic project, “Burj Rawajeh,” located on King Fahd Road in the capital, Riyadh. Rising more than 220 meters, the tower is set to become one of the city’s most prominent modern landmarks, with its opening scheduled for 2029.
The project comes as part of Rawajeh’s efforts to support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, building sustainable, modern cities and enhancing quality of life—in collaboration with the Royal Commission for Riyadh City and the Riyadh Municipality.
The tower’s design is inspired by the palm tree trunk, a symbol of generosity and authenticity in Saudi culture. It embodies the spirit of Salmani architecture, which harmonizes beauty and function while preserving local identity. The tower features residential and serviced units, in addition to recreational facilities built upon smart, sustainable engineering solutions that cater to privacy and the local climate.
Fahad Al Rajhi, Chairman of Rawajeh Holding, stated:
“Burj Rawajeh is not just a building, it is an architectural narrative that reflects our belief at Rawajeh that real estate development is an art that shapes a better future for cities and their people.”
Engineer Aqeel Al Rajhi, CEO of Rawajeh Holding, emphasized that the project is “a transformative step that reflects Rawajeh’s vision in enriching the urban landscape of the capital through destinations that blend authenticity with a contemporary outlook.”
Abdulaziz Al Suwailem, CEO of Rawajeh Development Company, noted that the design “combines Najdi elements with Salmani architecture, adding a distinctive value to King Fahd Road as a corridor of modern development.”
Meanwhile, Engineer Filippo Lodi, Director at UN Studio, the project’s design firm, said:
“Burj Rawajeh represents an architectural journey that merges Najdi heritage with the ambition of modern Riyadh, transcending the conventional tower typology and expressing the unique human and urban fabric of the city.” He added that the tower’s design “draws from the identity of Riyadh, from its patterns to its pavements, forming a contemporary cultural landmark rooted in authenticity and confidently oriented toward the future.”
Rawajeh Holding continues to lead the development of pioneering projects that shape the future of Saudi Arabia’s urban landscape under its slogan: “Shapping Tomorrow.”
